Our Story

Eva Putzova

People First Campaigns is led by Eva Putzova, a highly experienced issue advocacy professional and accomplished policymaker. Eva successfully spearheaded the 2016 minimum wage initiative in Flagstaff, AZ, which was approved by voters. She was also an architect of the Restaurant Workers Bill of Rights resolution introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives in 2022.

Her professional skills span strategic planning, communications, fundraising, and compliance. With previous experience as a city council member and a congressional candidate, Eva understands the challenges faced by progressive candidates and campaigns. She offers her services with sensitivity to candidates’ challenges as they establish their campaign organizations.

Eva’s 15+ years of cross-functional leadership experience in the non-profit sector make her a thoughtful partner for organizations that are serious about their mission and unafraid to tap into the abundant resources that programs rooted in justice, solidarity, and equality deserve.


Lucia Hubinska

In 2025, Lucia Hubinska joined the team People First Campaigns as an expert on strategic communications and international relations. Lucia Hubinska is a lecturer, early career researcher, and dedicated political activist in the field of media and communications. Based in London at University College of Football Business (UCFB), she brings both academic insight and real-world experience to her work. Lucia holds a master’s degree in Public Relations and Strategic Communication from Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona and the University of Stirling in Scotland.

Her teaching and research focus on propaganda, power in digital and visual media, and the role of communication in shaping public discourse.

Lucia is also a press freedom advocate and actively engages in international solidarity work. In 2024, she was a candidate for the European Parliament. Her work is grounded in a commitment to justice, democracy, and the transformative power of communication
